W Hotel London by Concrete Amsterdam

When I came across Concrete a Dutch Interiors Company based in Amsterdam I was fascinated with the interiors inside the bedrooms of the W Hotel in London. I was fascinated by the island sink area, a great place for getting ready and putting your make up on. I love it. I like the shapes that have been created on the sink island legs and it is extra functional because it does not only create a great look but also adds extra storage space.

This article again caught my eye in the Dec/Jan 2012 Adore Magazine. This is the Magnolia Interiors shop in Brisbane, an interiors shop that specializes in Designers Guild among many others. The shop was opened 11 years ago when the owner was approached by Designers Guild to open a concept store. I love the graphic black mixed with brights colours and love the patterned wall paper.

When I was flicking through the Dec/Jan 2012 Adore magazine I was instantly drawn to this article because of the bright vibrant colours. I was dying to add this to my blog and actually didn't have time there and then to add an entry so I left the page of the magazine open for 2 days so I would not forget about it! The interior designer behind this gorgeous scheme is Anna Spiro a renowned Australian Interior Designer who has a passion for bright colours and pattern- her work is stunning. My fave piece in this house is the pink ottoman that features in the living room, it is stunning and gives the whole room so much character. I also love the little tray that is home to the perfumes that are on the bathroom vanity counter.

Anna Spiro's passion for colour reminds me very much of myself and it is refreshing to see lots of (as the name of Anna Spiro's blog perfectly sums it up) 'absolutely beautiful things'
